Coaching and Mentoring Humans like YOU & me.
Countless experts on this platform are talking about leadership and bosses in charge. Guiding employees to achieve long-lasting success, especially in demanding times of global change.
I often realize in daily work that clients, despite all their achievements, in reality feel lonely at the top. Whether in their high positions or in private life – an exhausting mindset of not functioning perfectly.
WE are no software of ghosts in machines! At least we should find meaning, passion, love, empathy, & inner freedom in life. We are mortal humans, trying our best at any time & level.
My first fundamental questions – when mentoring, coaching clients & certain humans I’m privileged to call genuine friends:
How is your sleep? How about your nutrition & digestion? What is your inner voice telling or asking you? Do you take time for yourself? Are you loving yourself?
The response I often realize is a long pause after a shy whisper: "No, not really."
To feel an inner vacuum, guilt, and even shame for not functioning perfectly; the high expectations of position as a leader, and husband & father of kids. Additionally, feeling bad not being there in a loving, caring presence!
— But what can I do? I’m exhausted and feel empty when coming home late after demanding work hours.
It takes time to trust, to articulate intimate feelings without interruption, focused, undivided ears, but most of all an open heart.
I’d never call myself a leader or an expert in the different fields of my work. Not because I’m too humble or not experienced enough, but down-to-earth in every beat of my heart.
I’m a humanitarian, a philanthropist in the first case – supporting humans, underprivileged families, and their children in need. I find this to be a fundamental basis of mentoring/coaching in mental health, neuroplasticity, and living in peace of mind!
It’s no coincidence I’ve lived in developing countries since 2009! Cambodia, with its wonderful locals, the Khmer, whose parents & grandparents had faced a fatal genocide from 1975-79. When the brother was brutally forced to kill his sister; the father, his wife & their children.
I love to BE around humble humans who appreciate my focus on their challenges; how to turn difficult life circumstances into solutions. Receiving grateful respect for the human I am. It’s fulfilling being on the right path; I found my mission by turning passion into purpose.
I started inviting clients who need to explore the way back to their human roots. To consciously take time by coming and staying at my tranquil house embedded in nature.
There’s no scheduled coaching. NO phones. Solitude while gardening; hands covered in soil; finding inner freedom by grounding oneself in nature. Visiting the local market before cooking together. Recharging in a tropical garden, countless stars on a clear night sky, contemplating life with its limited time given.
